We are a good fit
Need a partner or a vendor.
Have a decent grasp of your project direction, budget, and timeline, but need a seasoned pro to flesh out the concept and execute.
Demand great work, not only from those you work with, but from yourself.
We are not a good
fit if you…
We love working closely with clients to bring their vision to life, but if there’s absolutely no openness to outside ideas, why bring on a partner in the first place?
Have less thank $5k to spend on a multidisciplinary project. We love working with startups, but you need enough capital on hand to ensure a quality end product. If money is tight, we recommend finding a freelancer who can work within your means.
You’re a remote team. How do you make that work?
Shellshock began as a remote enterprise as our founder Mark J. Mason traveled the world, meeting new creators. That’s why remote collaboration is baked into our company DNA—we understand its opportunities, risks, and rewards well enough to navigate them for our benefit and yours.
Why “Shellshock”? Isn’t that a word for PTSD?
Short answer: As a teenager, our founder Mark first encountered the word and liked the idea of an experience so powerful that its impression lingered long after exposure. He wondered what was possible if that force was creative, positive, and beautiful, rather than soul-crushing. He decided to name the company in its honor to find out. For a longer answer, check out Mark’s article on why he started Shellshock.
